I'll be commenting more on the games when I get some spare time, during and after the Championship concludes. It is shaping up to be a hard and prolonged fight for the world title. Who will score first blood?? Let battle commence!|1,3,9,0,aimage.png,B,3,3,9,0,blank.png,B||This world chess championship match is the final phase of the world championship qualification process, which takes a cycle of approximately 2 years to find a challenger. The two players are current world champion Magnus Carlsen (Norway) and the challenger Sergey Karjakin (Russia) The winner of this match will be crowned world champion for this year through to 2018. This match will consist of 12 games and if necessary further tie-break games and if still no winner decided then a one game for it all 'armageddon' game. |7,6,9,0,aimage.png,B,5,5,9,0,blank.png,B||A surprise for a modern world Chess Championship match!! This is called many things but commonly known as the Trompowsky attack, made popular by British Grandmaster Julian Hodgson in the 1990's on the British Chess circuit. It is known that if black plays actively against it equality can be easily achieved.|0,2,9,0,aimage.png,B,4,6,9,0,blank.png,B|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
