Wanted a quick game of blitz so logged onto a very popular live Chess site and got paired up against a Russian player called 'Ruslan' who had a grading of 1786 elo. I was pleased with this game, I'm always a bit sharper in the mornings! |||i like this move, black's bad queens bishop is a motif in the french so I like to try and exchange it off early, when possible, but it ends up playing a crucial part in this game||||||||||||||||||time to boot the bishop and get some queenside play in||||||||||||happy with this already, i control all the key central squares with pawns||||||time to put the pressure on, get good squares for the rest of my pieces and make some threats||||||only one thing on my mind here, checkmate on g2!||||||||||||||||||another piece comes in, with a tempo on the queen!|||||||||||||||||||||no threats to worry about whilst i improve my position|||time to try and eliminate the defending pieces||||||mate threatened|||very weakening and creates some nice holes|||preparing to bring my rook to d3, blocking his queen from my king side|||a good move combining attack and defence||||||||||||blocking up the d-file, i want this to re-open as soon as possible so...|||||||||time to pile up on the d file and suffocate him|||white threatening mate in 2 moves|||Blocking the mate threat and putting the rook in his guts, combining defence and attack. Also looking to sacrifice on the f3 square and preparing to bring my other rook behind on the d7 square|||||||||This move prepares to support his rook when it comes to the b6 square hitting my queen! But it's too late for all of this|||Massive pressure on the d-file now|||Hitting my c4 pawn, he's fishing around with the knight, need to be careful and I was getting low on time|||I can't remember what I was worried about here to play this move|||He can have the pawn, now follows my combination, 40 seconds left at this point|||Hitting the queen|||attacking my rook|||Boom!|||The only move really|||White resigns, no way to stop the mate. I wish I could play this well every game. Never underestimate a charitychess member!

No, on 32. Ne4 then 32..Ra2+ for black, or 32..Rf2+ and it's all over

Would 32 Ne4 have extended the game at all?
